JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
-
Develop, execute and drive a strategy for the continuous improvement of production/service systems and standards, capacity, efficiency, productivity, operational processes, cost reduction and overall company performance
-
In conjunction with the company directors, roll out the medium to long term implementation timetable for continuous improvement, maintain and report the progress.

Lead and manage the completion of continuous improvement projects within a given timeframe, to meet the company/department goals in productivity, quality, efficiency, profitability and safety.

Support the department managers in performing a detailed gap analysis across department processes, performance, and operational plans.

Engage and inspire employees to recognize and realize process improvement opportunities, coach and train them.

Lead and participate in LEAN events, drive and track the implementation of improvement and change initiatives.

Support the implementation of new technologies and process digitalization, identify opportunities for innovation.

Collect and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
WE EXPECT OUR CANDIDATES TO HAVE
-
In depth practical experience of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Standardized Work, Problem Solving, VSM, TPM, SMED, Kaizen, OEE and other LEAN methods and tools.
-
Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related field.

3 or more years of experience in a management role and in a LEAN manufacturing environment.

Track record of driving standardization, simplification & continuous improvement across key business processes.

Strong project management skills and ability to lead complex projects to positive results.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
-
Ability to facilitate change and motivate colleagues to practice continuous improvement.
-
Fluent in Latvian and English.

B category driver license.
